Windy Lou, 40, of Houma: My favorite is “A Christmas Story.” It has been a Christmas Eve tradition for years now to watch the 24-hour marathon while getting ready for Santa! The movie is special to me because it’s a reminder of how simple things used to be.

Jennie Trahan Chauvin, 32, of Raceland: For me it would be “Caillou’s Holiday Movie!” You see I have twin girls — Mallory and Macy — that are 3 and love this movie. When I get a chance to watch an adult movie, it would be “A Christmas Story.”

Kevin Forshag, 51, of Houma: “Christmas Vacation,” by far!

Greg Sapia, 34, of Lockport: My favorite Christmas movie of all time is “A Christmas Story.”

Keith Magill, 51, of Houma: I like “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” not just because it’s a great story, but because the music really captures the spirit of the season. I listen to the record, by jazz pianist Vince Guaraldi, every Christmas season. It wouldn’t be the same without it. One of my favorite songs from the album is “Skating.” Through his piano, you can almost hear the snowflakes falling. Magical.

Jim Beaux, 32, of Des Allemands: Mine would have to be both “Home Alone” movies. Good music and funny characters. Instant classic!

Derrick Ross, 37: My favorite holiday is Christmas. It’s the season for many reasons to be thankful cause I know I am very grateful. “Sanford and Son.” I can watch this over and over and over again! I’ve been watching that show since I was 7, and now that I’m 37, the laughs and cries still go on as I watch them over and over again.

Victoria Landry, 28, of Thibodaux: I love “A Christmas Story.” I watch that show every year. It’s hilarious, and I love “Rudolph” also. It is the cutest show ever.

Brittany Lovell Trainor, 30, of Houma: “Frosty.”

Craig Dolese, 26, of Houma: My favorite Christmas movie of all time would have to be “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”
